Robert Anthony Minter
(1851-1908)
Also known as "Bob," Robert was first a farmer. On his place southwest of Pine Forest, he at one time had a 65-acre peach orchard. Bob was a teacher for a period of time and also ran a brick kiln near Bethel, TX. Additionally, he installed and operated of the first steam cotton gins in the area.
Robert and Susan had 10 children: Emmett Raase Minter (b. 1875 - d.1876), Samuel August Minter (b.1876 - d. 1960), Edna Elina (Minter) Greenwood (b.1878 - d.1961), Brice Anthony Minter (b.1880 - d.1948), Benjamin Hill Minter (b.1882 - d.1953), Robbie Alphonso (Minter) Phillips (b.1886 - d.1978), John McFerrin "Mack" Minter (b.1889 - d.1907), William Lafett Keener Minter (b.1893 - d.1914), Carter Ramey Minter (b.1895 - d.1954), Frances Sue "Fannie" (Minter) Stokes (b.1897 - d.1976).
Robert Anthony Minter (b.1851 - d.1908) and Susan Elizabeth (Ramey) Minter (b.1853 - d.1915). Robert was a son to Joseph "Pappy" Minter.
Susan Elizabeth (Ramey) Minter (b. 1853 - d.1915) as a young woman.
John McFerrin Minter (b.1889 - d.1907), was the son of Mr. Robert Anthony Minter and Mrs. Susan Minter.
Carter Ramey Minter (b.1895 - d. 1954) was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anthony Minter.
Robbie Alphonso Minter (b.1886 - d.1978), was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Anthony Minter.

Edna (Minter) Greenwood (b.1878 - d.1961) was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Anthony Minter. Edna married Elmore Patrick Greenwood (on right).
Elmore Patrick Greenwood (b.1875 - d. 1944) was the President of Great Southern Life Insurance Company.

Benjamin Hill Minter ( b.1882 - d.1953), was son of Robert Anthony Minter and Susan Minter.
Samuel Augustus Minter (b.1875 - d.1960), was son to Robert and Susan Minter.
Brice Anthony Minter (b.1880 - d.1948), was son to Robert and Susan Minter.
Fannie Sue Minter (b.1896 - d.1976), was a daughter of Robert and Susan Minter.

Robert Melson Minter, Jr. (b.1930 - d. 2024) was the son of Robert Melson Minter, Sr. and Juanita Caroline (Gay) Minter. "RM," as he was referred to, assisted his family in operating a dairy and egg farm, along with a dry cleaning store in the Baytown, TX area. RM was influential in the start of the Pine Forest Minters Association.
